Tourism Accommodation Australia represents 31 accommodation properties which together constitute more than 85% of the licensed accommodation industry in the Australian Capital Territory.  It is the only accommodation representative organisation with an office in Canberra and staff dedicated to servicing the needs of ACT hotels.

Tourism Accommodation Australia is the voice of Canberra’s accommodation sector to the ACT Government.  It represents the industry on a range of boards and committees, including:

• Canberra Institute of Technology – School of Tourism and Hotel Management Advisory Group
• Chief Minister’s Taxi Roundtable
• University of Canberra – Tourism Program Advisory Group
• Canberra Business Council – Tourism Arts & Sports Taskforce
• Australia Forum
